After Hurricane Sandy slammed into the Jersey Shore, we didn't know what condition we would find our clients' home in. Luckily the home only suffered superficial damage. However, we decided that the spaces did not fit the personality and functionality of the sisters sharing this beach house retreat. It was in need of a complete overhaul, and it was the right time to begin. After structural evaluation we deemed it safe to go inside to document the interior conditions and to begin our survey. We wanted to create a fresh, fun, light, sophisticated, modern beach house that the sisters would enjoy collectively, however would speak to each one of their unique tastes individually.
